Comedy Relief

The first thought of Much is usually "he's funny" and generally he's comedy relief. Now while comedy relief is good, when a character is made just for this, it usually backfires. Sometimes really bad (e.i. Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars). And often, comedy is criticized by everyone talking about on a blog, podcast, review, and so forth. Like I am. When someone is made just to crack jokes, their character is bland and dull. But I'm here to talk about Much.
Much was a great character. Sure, one could say his purpose was comedy relief, but he had emotions. He wasn't stupid. He cried and loved, and like I just loved him. Overall, he was one of the best characters, as we got to visibly see the character growth through all three season.
