This is is a rant. It is probably rude, mean, and aggressive. Do not be offended by it for it's just a rant.
So that's how I began this post, which-frankly-I should bring back. Because like 99.9999% of this blog is rude, mean, aggressive rants.
Anyways, Isabella was at her worse with Robin, as was Kate. This stupid thing that Robin can't be a widower annoyed me SOOO much!
True, Isabella was kinda cool as a single, power-hungry character. I liked the bad guy, badass side she had, and she good-for Season Three's standards. And Isabella's love interest with Robin made sense, somewhat- I guess? But like, she would've been better by herself, so that was kinda stupid. And don't even get me started on Kate... And Robin not being a widower was also something that the series could have used. A hero trying to save the world without his lover. Robin Hood without his Lady Marian, literally. But that wasn't really a thing for the 2000s tv area, but it still would've worked.
After she got over Robin dumping her and stuff *haha you deserve it* she was OKAY. I was glad she died, but why did they need a new bad guy do begin with? I can't make sense of it.
As I mentioned before, Isabella became much better after Robin. And she became more of this dark, evil bad guy. Why there was a need for a new villain, I'm still not really sure. We just lost three characters, and this was the show's way of making it up I guess? And of course, every late-season of a show needs to have a forgotten sibling returning from the dead. *cough* Riverdale *coughcough*
The drought one I think? Wasn't it called Too Hot To Handle? I have extensive knowledge on the whole seasons. That is, the seasons worth knowing about. Either way, that one episode were like Robin and Isabella are talking about Marian and Isabella goes "I'm not like her!" Okay, first of all, Marian isn't just a "her"
So, yes, it was Too Hot to Handle, and that was the episode with the drought, and I believe Robin's and Isabella's became clear to some characters in it, but it's been a long time since I watched it. I think that episode was one of the worst for me. The only upside is that it's like the second time Marian was mentioned in the whole season-that isn't an exaggeration, Marian was only brought up in the first episode besides this. And Isabella saying "I'm not like her!" Triggered me so much. It's just like....*sighs* Girl, this isn't his cheating ex or something, this is his dead wife.
But what was the worst thing that quite possibly happened in this season (after Allan's *spoiler* death) was when they used Marian's theme WITH ROBIN AND ISABELLA!!!!
So, I don't exactly remember when they used Marian's/Robin's theme with Robin and Isabella, but I don't think it was after Allan's death, because by then Robin was with Kate. But they did us the theme with Isabella and Robin. And the gif I put in the original post accurately depicted my reaction.
Also, my grammar was spelling in that post, what was up with that?
The only time I remember them using Marian's theme with Robin/Isabella was when she was telling her his dream. I always interpreted it as Robin imagining the life he would never have with Marian, especially since his whole relationship with Isabella is basically portrayed as an unhealthy coping mechanism after losing Marian.
