Rewriting Kate

Spoiler alert: I'm not actually rewriting Kate, I'm replacing her.

Okay, on a blog (I can't remember which one), there was a post on Robin Hood on it. And in the comments, someone was saying how it would be cool if, in the beginning, Kate took on as the NightWatghMan to haunt Guy or something like that. My first reaction was honestly "WHAT! Kate? Replacing Marian? Are you crazy??!" Then I realized, it would be our first impression of Kate. Then I found it interesting.

I don't like Kate's character at all (as most fans agree). If I had it my way, she wouldn't have been in the show in the first place, but if she had to be in it, it would be a one-time thing. And she had to leave like every other side character. I thought the episode with the Irish was really cool, tbh, so we would have to keep her for forty-five minutes (well, you win some, you lose some).

After Kate was gone (or maybe before, idk) there would be rumors (and a whole episode) about the reappearance of the NightWatchMan. Both Robin and Gisborne would be distress (and they would have to mention Marian in this episode for more than three seconds). Maybe Gisborne would find out, maybe he wouldn't. Robin certainly would've. And I don't think-at least, I hope, anyways-that she and Robin would be together. Maybe she would end up with Allan, given how he got close to Marian, the NightWatchMan, especially when they both were in Nottingham.
