King Richard in the show was depicted as somewhat of a kind old uncle. Clearly, King Richard not that kind, old uncle. Even a lot of fans will find the episode he was in a bit odd how Richard was shown. He was more of a hot-headed, not too good guy. Though he should a little bit of his hot-headedness, when he wanted Robin & Co. killed.
